Sailwinches by Graupner; also Nylet/Hitec sailwinches (ex Tony Abel).

In 1999 we took over the licence for the adapted Hitec sailwinches (previously manufactured and sold by the late Tony Abel). Units have been updated to keep pace with current demands for performance and speed, and are far less demanding upon the battery compared to digital winches. The photo right is the Hitec/Nylet MARATHON sailwinch, a very powerful unit having fully adjustable sheet travel control, at a budget price, and suited for larger yachts from Ten Rater upwards in size.

The Graupner range of adjustable (drum) sailwinches are compact and fast, and suit yachts from the 36 inch through to Ten Rater.

During 2004, Hitec introduced certain alterations to specs, and some units have been superseded, such as the HS725BB which is now replaced by the HS785BB. Both lever (or "arm") sailwinches and drum winches are available in the Hitec range, and these include digital sailwinches. Full explanations and advice on sailwinch capabilities are to be found in the larger BB3 information booklet.

Both Hitec and Graupner sailwinches include English instructions.

All orders for sailwinches (value £40+) come with the B11 info leaflet.

Battery packs & batteries, Hitec radio combos, servos, crystals, leads & harnesses etc.

We stock a range of receivers, servos, crystals, leads, harnesses and battery packs. Crystal sets are available in 40Mhz (FM) frequencies, and where stocks permit, separate Tx and Rx Xtals, please enquire for stock situation stating your requirements. Stocks constantly change and not every channel may be available at any one time, but we try to keep stock levels as high as supplies from the importers allow.
